around 100 passionate locals

who like things just the way they are..

But we're willing to share!

Come respect and enjoy our unique wilderness,

and we'll give you a wave as you go past.

Please note only walking and cycling is allowed

in the French Island National Park.

A road following the front boundary around to the beach, where the prison jetty once stood, allows walkers a good view of the cells and adjoining buildings that survived time.

Why Not !

Drink award winning wine..

Maybe a glass or two of French Island Vineyard's award winning cool climate wine, is more to your taste. Enjoy the views of Westernport Bay as you indulge in a cheese platter or home made pizza cooked in the outdoor oven.
